The more time we spend in the here and now the more present we are to ourselves and those around us. It is when we start focusing on the ‘rear view mirror’ that we become sad, angry or depressed.
When we focus on what ‘could or should’ have been we are looking in that mirror and are robbing ourselves of being present to what is around us today. To the daily gifts from the Universe…the sunrise, sunset, flowers, birds, our children, pets, friends…. You get the picture.
