Life Through the Windshield!

windshield

The more time we spend in the here and now the more present we are to ourselves and those around us. It is when we start focusing on the ‘rear view mirror’ that we become sad, angry or depressed.

When we focus on what ‘could or should’ have been we are looking in that mirror and are robbing ourselves of being present to what is around us today. To the daily gifts from the Universe…the sunrise, sunset, flowers, birds, our children, pets, friends…. You get the picture.

Focus on looking through the windshield not the rear view mirror!

Thanks for sharing this Linda. I love this concept and advice, and I will add this thought to it, which I believe is very helpful: as we look through the “windshield” the “view” is greatly enhanced and made most peaceful when we have a steady, solid, “faith” which is as constant as possible. Otherwise, various manifestations of fear can cause the view through the “windshield” to have anticipations of loss, pain and trouble. However, when we have what I will call “faith”, we can then best see and anticipate the love, peace, joy and “prosperity” as we look forward through the “windshield”.

Well said, Rick and I agree 100%… Fear can cause all kinds of issues but trusting and having faith that all will work out is, in my opinion, the best way to live your life.
