Sounds like a good idea to me and a great descriptive way to remember when you start focusing on the past and the things you can’t change.
The past is the past and you can’t change it so why put your focus on it. When something keeps popping up that can’t be changed why not say to yourself, ‘ I am going to send this to voice mail’ and if you want to get back to it you can, if not, delete it.
Sometimes doing something visually or saying it out loud helps take care of the problem.
