I remember when I was young, I spent a lot of time worrying about what ‘other people think’ and then one day I asked someone if they remembered something that happened years ago. They had no clue what I was talking about. At the time this thing that happened was a very big deal to me.
It was then and there that I realized that most people are more concerned about themselves than they are with you and are not spending their time thinking about you and what happened.
It was probably one of the best lessons I have ever learned.
