This is a big question. I know all of us have something that we are afraid of.

Some people are afraid to fly, afraid of heights, public speaking, life, death, or what people think of them. The list could go on and on.

Sometimes fear is caused by anxiety, undesirable outcome or consequences. But if you weren’t afraid, what would you do?

I’ve heard it said–and I agree–that most things we worry about never come to pass, and that living in a state of worry pulls us out of the present and into our stories about the past or future. To worry seems natural and human, but it might be a good idea to assess if it’s become compulsive for oneself, in which case a fresh outlook may be desirable.
