Pushing Ourselves!

Pushing ourselves

When was the last time you pushed yourself? I know I have recently had some knee issues which has made going on my daily walks hard but I have found if I listen to my body, I can go for a walk and push through some of the knee pain. My knee is getting stronger every day because of it.

That is just a simple example but there are many ways we can push ourselves to find out what really lies in the outer reaches of our abilities.

Push yourself. You won’t regret it!

Go Within!

Go Within

Amen to that!

I think that it is VERY important for every person on this planet to take time to be alone every day. Taking time to go within, being quiet and just listening to that inner voice. Hear what it has to say.

You will be surprised at how much strength it will give you when being quiet and listening to yourself, what your soul, your body has to say.

Take the time. It will make you stronger!

I am sure I have blogged about this before but it doesn’t hurt to have a reminder!

When I was in high school I was accused of doing something I didn’t do because of a note I left for a friend. At the time I thought my life was over because no one believed me. As time went on the issue subsided but it was still something I thought about for years after the event.

Many years later I ran into one of the people who had caused this issue for me and asked her about it. She had NO recollection of the event. Nothing. Nada. That made me look at myself and see that what I thought was very relevant from my past was really just a blip and no big deal.

Let go of past!

We are so busy looking down at our phones when we are out and about, it seems we rarely smile at each other anymore. Or we don’t trust people so we don’t smile but frown and look dower all the time. Isn’t that a great way to be? NOT!

How hard is it to smile? It is a gift that costs nothing yet gives so much joy and happiness to everyone who receives it. We need to spend more time looking up and giving a simple gift to those around us.

SMILE… it does your face good!
