Life can throw you curves but it doesn’t mean that this is how it will always be.
Think back when you were younger and situations that happened. Now look where you are now. Yup, you made it beyond that situation.
Know your present situation is not your final destination! The best is yet to come.
The only way negativity can come into your mind is if you let it in. You have choice whether to let it occupy your mind or not. Do not allow it to cloud your mind.
When someone says something negative to you, it is easy to let it seep into your mind. As soon as you realize what is happening find something else to focus on; read a book, take a walk, talk to a friend… find something else to occupy that private sanctuary.
Especially the sparkles!
Yes, spirituality is seeing and knowing the joy and beauty that surrounds you. But it isn’t all about nature and its beauty. It is also about seeing the joy and beauty in every human being. Even those we disagree with for they too have redeeming factors that need love; our love and compassion.
The meaning of spirituality is the quality of being concerned with the human spirit or soul as opposed to material and physical things. Aren’t we all spiritual beings?
Especially the bra!
Hope this finds you smiling. Happy Friday!
Yes, you will be okay. When we are in the middle of things, it doesn’t always feel like life will ever be fine but as time goes on you realize that you have made it through the storm.
Life will take us to unexpected places. Surprises will happen. Decisions will need to be made but in the long run, it will all be okay.
Trust that you will be able to make it through the storms.
Many of us cannot afford some of the art that we love (like Dale Chihuly glass.) Everyone who comes to visit us in the PNW is told they need to go to the Tacoma Glass Museum and the Seattle Chihuly Garden and Glass Museum at the Seattle Center to see Dale’s work.
I also love to know what music people are listening to because I love hearing all kinds of music. And don’t get me started on books…. If you aren’t reading, you are so missing out on a rich world.
Take time to share the music, art and books that you love with friends. Art and artists are a VERY important part of our lives.
Checkout Cheryl Bentyne’s (Manhattan Transfer) newest solo album. Release date is OCTOBER 6 …you can find it on Artistshare, ITunes, and Amazon.
