That is the truth!
It isn’t always easy to find truly ‘good’ people but when you do, make sure you love and protect them the best you can. We all need good people in our lives. Those that let us be who we are without judgement yet they will tell you when we are being ridiculous or need a swift kick.
Love and cherish all the good people in your life!
As a society we seem to spend much of our lives proving things… proving how successful we are, how much money we make, how great our kids/animals are, what a perfect life we have…fill in whatever comes to mind. You get my drift!
We need to spend more time living, enjoying life, our families, friends, people we don’t know. Spending our time being kind and patient. Enjoying sunsets, staring out the window, or being quiet to name a few things.
I find that a lot of what Elizabeth Gilbert says resonates with me.
How we behave DOES have an impact whether we know it or not. When we are sad and angry, those things seep out to those around us. But so does patience and generosity. How we behave is bigger than I think we realize.
We have more influence than we think. Pay attention to your behavior!
Hope this finds you smiling. Happy Friday!
In these days of ‘Fake News’ we need to be thankful. I know I spend a lot more time researching information than I used to do. I don’t take anything at face value anymore.
So, that makes me thankful for the lies because I have to figure out what I believe and what I won’t. It makes me find my truth.
Find those lies that bring you to the truth!
We all need to have hope, for what would the world be if we didn’t?
Being hopeful helps us to know that the future can be brighter and that we have had a role in making it happen. Being hopeful can give us strength to get through hard times, knowing that they will end. Being hopeful can give strength to someone else.
You have a role, in this world, to be hopeful!
Who wants to have regrets for not trying? I certainly don’t!
If you want something, go after it. You may not get exactly what you expected but the rewards of knowing that you tried far outweigh not doing anything.
As the saying goes… if at first you don’t succeed, try try again!
