As a society we seem to spend much of our lives proving things… proving how successful we are, how much money we make, how great our kids/animals are, what a perfect life we have…fill in whatever comes to mind. You get my drift!
We need to spend more time living, enjoying life, our families, friends, people we don’t know. Spending our time being kind and patient. Enjoying sunsets, staring out the window, or being quiet to name a few things.
I love to dance whether I have a partner or not…. But this quote by Jack Canfield, to me, isn’t really about physical dancing but more about moving, leaping, skipping, and bobbing to life.
If you don’t keep ‘dancing’ to life, whether you have a partner or not, then you can become stagnate, lonely, depressed or just out of sorts. The goal of life is to keep ‘dancing’ until your last breath.
What does this quote mean to you?
Doesn’t this visual say it all?!
We all seem to spend way too much time worrying about things that are out of our control. What if today was your last day on earth? How would you live it differently? Would you be stressing about things? I doubt it.
You don’t need to have a ton of money to have fun, be grateful, and be yourself. It is the simple things in life that make it wonderful.
Live each day to the fullest, you never know when your last day will be!
Now this is something to think about!
I know there are many people out there delivering a performance instead of living their lives. And each person has their reason for what they are doing. Hopefully there comes a time in their lives when they will say STOP, I am tired of this and it is time for me to live my life!
I personally think it takes more energy to deliver a performance than to live your life. What do you think?
There are no ‘do overs’ when it comes to your life. You can make changes and be a better person but this is the only life you are going to have so live it well.
What does that mean? To me it means being kind, loving, generous, and grateful not only to others but to myself and living my life with truth.
What is a well lived life to you?
You should never have to explain your life and how you are living it. If you have to explain it then it might be time to take a look at who is asking!
Live your life full on with joy, happiness, exploration, peace and love! To me that is a life of exclamation.
What is your idea of living your life as an exclamation?
Have you had people tell you that you have changed? Don’t take that as being negative. To me it means that you are being your own person, being yourself and not living to others expectations.
As a society we learn to conform at an early age and it takes a strong person to not always follow the ‘norm’.
So, if you hear this from someone, smile! You will know that you are truly living your own life!
